This one is a perfect mixed moshla. Take Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin as the principle ingredient, put in a dash of Jab We Met to it, garnish with a sprinkling of Pyar To Hona Hi Tha and the Mon Maane Naa feast is ready to be savoured by the audience. In spite of a near-perfect frame by frame copy of the Aamir Khan-Pooja Bhatt Dil Hai... starrer, Sujit Guha’s venture doesn’t fail to entertain. Rahul (Dev) is a mixture of Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’s Raghu Jaitley (only this time Dev isn’t a reporter) and Pyar To Hona Hi Tha’s Shekhar essayed by Ajay Devgan. Rahul steals a diamond necklace to meet the different needs of his joint family. On his way to Darjeeling, he meets Riya (Koel) the daughter of a businessman, who is fleeing home to meet her man, software engineer Bonny. Riya however, is an assortment of Kajol’s Sanjana act in Pyar... and Pooja Dharamchand in Dil... The duo board the same bus and after she falls on his lap with the sudden start of the vehicle, Dev even mouths the ‘Uparwala jab deta hai chhapar far ke deta hai dialogue’. The couple falls in love in the course of their journey and the rest, as they say, is history.
